Mappa has announced another one of its works of art- Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku. Fans cannot hold their excitement at this latest announcement. MAPPA is coming out to produce some of the highest quality anime recently. You must have seen jujutsu Kaisen and the latest season of Attack on Titan. Their latest Takt Op got a lot of love too.

Hell’s Paradise: The Manga

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is a manga written and illustrated by Yuji Kaku. This dark fantasy manga was launched in 2018 and concluded in January 2024. Hell’s Paradise was serialized in Shōnen Jump+ and is also available in Shueisha’s Manga Plus app for reading. At the time of writing, the manga has a cumulative sale of 3.6 million copies.

Gabimaru the Hollow is one of the most vicious ninja assassins ever to come out of the village of Iwagakure. He’s ruthlessly efficient, but a betrayal results in him being handed a death sentence. There is only one hope: travel to a long-hidden island and recover an elixir that will make the shogun immortal and he will regain his freedom. Failure is not an option—on this island, Heaven and Hell are a hair’s breadth away.

MAPPA is well known for bringing life to some of the top mangas. It is evident from Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man, that MAPPA is not going to stop with these amazing anime. This one will be another amazing manga with some of the best visuals.

The Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Jump Festa 2024 event featured a panel of Yoshikawa Kitchomu, Haruna Iikubo, and Sekai from the Japanese band FANTASTIC from EXILE TRIBE. They discussed the characters of the series, certain manga panels, as well as fan-recommended battles.

Hell’s Paradise: Release Date

Unfortunately, the release date of the anime has not to been confirmed as of yet. The production house said it is coming soon, so we do not have a clear image of what the official release date will be. However, it has been confirmed that the anime will premiere in the fall of 2024.

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku PV

On 19 December, MAPPA released the first PV of the anime. We get the first look into the anime accompanied by sinister music to fit the dark theme of the plot.

The visuals are looking good, and there are spoilers as well. If you do not want to wait for the anime anymore, you can start reading the manga here. But, a little suspense and excitement are always good! MAPPA is doing a really good job with its latest works, and we can say that this one will be pretty amazing too. The dark nature will bring in a lot of audiences. From the teaser- it is evident that the fans are already loving it.
