This anime film is going to win our hearts, and we are pretty sure about it. The anime was already one of the biggest hits of 2024. Meanwhile, it acquired fans all over the world. People are excited to know about the past of these characters as well.

But, there is something a bit disappointing about Japanese Anime films. We do not get to see the movie as soon as it is released. Japan is going to see the film at its earliest. The official release date is December 24, 2024.

Japan’s 24th December release date is no coincidence, however, as much of the story events in the manga take place on that date.

Yuuta Okkotsu- the character we have heard throughout the movie, is going to be the main lead. We have never seen this specific character, but his cursed energy is said to almost compete for that of Gojo’s. How excited are you to see a character who’s powers are comparable to that of Gojo’s?

Japan is going to see the Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0 first. We still do not know the official release date of the movie in the rest of the world.

Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0: Plot

“In a world where cursed spirits feed on unsuspecting humans, fragments of the legendary and feared demon Ryomen Sukuna were lost and scattered about. Should any demon consume Sukuna’s body parts, the power they gain could destroy the world as we know it. Fortunately, there exists a mysterious school of Jujutsu Sorcerers who exist to protect the precarious existence of the living from the supernatural!”

This is the official synopsis released by the production house. How excited are you all? Yuuta Okkotsu is someone we hear all throughout the anime. Everyone knows that his cursed energy can even beat that of Satoru’s when he’s old enough.

But, do you wonder what his life story is? Will it be as tragic as the rest of the characters? You are right. Yuuta fights the burden of his childhood friend- Rika’s death, and her turning into a vengeful spirit.

What’s more surprising is that she attacks anyone who tries to harm Yuuta or even get close to him? How is he going to overcome this?

Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0: Cast

MAPPA has the duty to turn this piece of art into a blockbuster masterpiece. MAPPA is still the production house. The original cast is also returning for the movie. We have an entire list of everything you need to know about the characters and their voice actor right in this section.

The director set to be Sung Hoo Park – who was in charge of The God of High School. Yuta Okkotsu will be voiced by Megumi Ogata. You might know her from Toilet Bound Hanako Kun as well. Rika Orimoto will be Kana Hanazawa from Demon Slayer.
