Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Anime: Christmas Conflict Arc has just been announced, and fans cannot hold their excitement. When the news was just announced, fans thought it was just a prank. It took them some time to digest the news.

The first day of Jump Festa 2024 concluded with several exciting announcements. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, Bleach, Chainsaw Man, and several other anime projects had something to announce on Day 1. However, Tokyo Revengers fans were eagerly waiting for Liden Films to give us something around season 2.

Well, our prayers have been answered, and the Japanese animation studio officially announced the second Season 2 of Tokyo Revengers. The time-travelling anime may not have been ‘hard-hitting’ in the same sense as many other titles, but the Toman Gang certainly know how to handle themselves in a fight.


Tokyo Revengers Season 2 Anime: Christmas Conflict Arc Release Date

As the first day of Jump Festa ’22 comes to a close, fans awaiting Tokyo Revengers season 2 have finally got good news. Earlier this month, rumours of the upcoming season already being in development began to surface. This came from a recent article from Yahoo News Japan that revealed that the series was already in production. However, studio Liden Films had not said anything about the prospects of a season 2.

Whilst every fan of Tokyo Revengers will welcome the news that the Christmas Conflict Arc is being adapted, a release date for season 2 was unfortunately not shared. The announcement of the first season of the anime was in June 2020 and premiered in April 2024.

Season 2 could therefore air as soon as June 2024 on the Summer anime slate. However, this is just a prediction, and nothing official is announced just yet.

Crunchyroll may not share their viewership statistics for simulcast titles, but it’s not particularly difficult to see how popular Toman are around the world. More than 337,000 viewers have given their ratings to Tokyo Revengers season 1 on MyAnimeList, culminating in an excellent 8.25/10 score.

Well, it looks the reports were accurate as Liden Films officially announced that Season 2 of the popular anime series is in production. According to the official announcement, Tokyo Revengers Season 2 will adapt the Christmas Showdown arc from the manga series. Interestingly, the Christmas conflict Arc features the battle between the Tokyo Manji gang and the 10th Generation of Black Dragons.

December 18th was the date when it was revealed at the Jump Festa 2024 event that the Christmas Conflict Arc was in production.

Tokyo Revengers Plot

Watching the news, Takemichi Hanagakii learns that his girlfriend from way back in middle school has died. The oonly girlfriend he had was killed by a villanous group known as the Tokyo Manji Gang. He lives in a crappy apartment with thin walls, and his six0years-younger boss treats him like an idiot. At the height of his rock-bottom life, he suddenly time-leaps twelve years back to his middle school days. To save his girlfriend Hinata, and change the life he spent running away, Takemichi must aim for the top of Kanto’s most sinister delinquent gang!”

The original plot of the story draws in a lot of people. It was one of the most popular anime of 2024 along with Jujutsu Kaisen. After the anime, the manga saw a huge spike in sales too. People cannot get enough of the twisted plot along with the tragedies braided within.

A new mobile game was announced…

The final announcement from the Jump Festa 2024 event was that a mobile video game based on Tokyo Revengers is in the works.

The official statement did not reveal any information about a potential storyline for the game but did feature the ‘Chibi’ versions of the main Toman gang.

A link was also shared, which takes users to the ‘Tokyo Revengers Game’ website.

Everyone loves our crybaby hero, and Takemichi is popular. People could not get enough of the anime. They started reading the manga too. The manga has made a record in sales. We still do not know when Season 2 will come out.

But, Liden has indeed given us a Christmas present. With Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0 release on Christmas 24, fans could not ask for more.

People want to see what happens to the gang. There are some more tragedies lined up along the way, but we shall not be revealing all those right now. The production house also will give the update of Draken’s voice actor, but all those are discussions for someday else.
