1. Morbius

Release Date: January 28, 2024

Among the best 2024 Marvel Movies falls Morbius. After reprising his role as The Joker in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Jared Leto is returning to the world of comic books in a role that should offer him a bit more screen time. Sony’s Morbius movie has finished filming and, after several delays, will drop at the start of the new year.

2. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Release Date: May 6, 2024

Benedict Cumberbatch returns as the Sorcerer Supreme with Elizabeth Olsen joining him as the Scarlet Witch in what Derrickson originally called “the first scary MCU movie.”

The events of Loki and WandaVision (to say nothing of what occurs in No Way Home) also suggest Strange will discover the real enemy lurking in the Multiverse as he deals with both Wanda’s actions and his own. The trailer even posits that the enemy is Strange himself.

Meanwhile, Wong’s status as the Sorcerer Supreme (as revealed in No Way Home) explains some of his actions in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. You almost have to wonder if some of that will pay off in Multiverse of Madness.

3. Thor: Love and Thunder

Release Date: July 8, 2024

Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi signed on to return for a fourth installment in the God of Thunder franchise. Chris Hemsworth will return as the wandering Odinson… but not necessarily as Thor.

In a surprise move, Marvel revealed Natalie Portman is returning to the series as the new Mighty Thor, a twist pulled from an excellent Thor comic book series by Jason Aaron, Russell Dauterman, and others. Meanwhile, Tessa Thompson will return as Valkyrie

4. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Release Date: November 11, 2024

Among the best 2024 Marvel Movies, the next one is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. After the tragic passing of Chadwick Boseman in August 2020, fans were left mourning and wondering where the franchise would go from there.

Director Ryan Coogler has confirmed that they will not be recasting T’Challa, which left many speculating as to the plot of the film. Like the other two movies coming out in 2024, details about the film are few and far between. However, actors such as Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, and Lupita Nyong’o will be returning to reprise their roles as Shuri, M’baku, Okoye, W’kabi, and Nakia, respectively.

5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2

Release Date: October 7, 2024;

Among the best 2024 Marvel Movies- the second last one on our list is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2. Shortly before Into the Spider-Verse hit theatres, Sony Pictures confirmed plans to produce a sequel. While story details are scarce, Into the Spider-Verse set up two sequels that allow for Miles Morales’ story to branch off in multiple directions.
