True Beauty Episode 14 Recap
True Beauty Episode 14 begins with Soo-Ho kissing Ju-Kyung’s forehead and embracing her in his arms. The girls at school scream in shock as they watch the pair walk hand in hand. Ju-Kyung decides that she wants to stick to her true self and be with Su Ho. Soo-Jin, well, let’s say she isn’t the happiest person on Earth right now.
Meanwhile, Joon-Woo continues to like by Hee-Kyungseeing. He sees her car parked at school and throws leaves at it. When Jae-Pil and Hyun-Sook step out, he immediately gets embarrassed and tries to get back to class. However, just as he sees Ju-Kyung, he starts crying.
When Ju-Kyung and Soo-Jin both happen to be using the bathroom at the same time, Soo-Ah steps in and tells them that she had heard everything yesterday. She says that she knows that Soo-Jin spread those videos, thus she confronts her for it.
It turns out Soo-Ah’s is only unhappy because Ju-Kyung did not tell her the truth about her face and the fact that she is dating Su-Ho. After this revelation, they both start crying and hug each other.
Meanwhile, Seo-Joon continues to feel dejected. He feelings for Ju-Kyung but he is well aware that she’s with Soo-Ho now. Ju-Kyung and Seo-Joon end up talking in the study hall as he accidentally wakes her up. She starts thanking him for taking the video down.
On that evening, Ju-Kyung musters up the courage to go after Sae-Mi and her group when they’re spotted bullying Hye-Min. She shows up bare face and confronts her past. She teams up with Soo-Ah to beat down the bullies. It ends when Cho-Rong steps in and tells the others he’ll handle this from now on.
Su-Ho is desperate to speak to Ju-Kyung but his friends advise him to play it cool and tell him that he should refrain from messaging her. As a result, he just ends up having a nightmare in which Ju Kyung ditches him to be with Han Seo Jun.
Elsewhere, Seo-Joon asks Su Ho for permission to confess his feelings about Ju Kyung. Ju-Kyung smiles warmly as it seems these two are going to stay together.
At home, Joon-Woo happens to be asleep on the sofa. Hee-Kyung wakes up who she calls her ‘grapefruit’ and he gets up and sits down with the family for supper.
At school, the tables have turned and the students have labeled Soo Jin as a villain for doing wrong with Ju Kyung. She tries to make up with her but ends up breaking down in the process. Let’s look forward to true Beauty Episode 15 after this.
Soo-Ho’s Father collapses in the office right when he was messaging Soo-Ho. Soo-Ho gets a piece of bad news as it is revealed that his father has had a brain hemorrhage. About True Beauty, Synopsis
True beauty is based on an 18-year-old girl, called Jugyeong Lim, who is bullied on the daily for being “ugly” and not fitting the strict beauty standards.
Her life turns around when she has to transfer schools as her family loses a lot of money forcing them to shift to their old house.
She does not want the past to be repeated and takes this opportunity to redesign her life. She takes the help of numerous tutorials and masters the art of makeup, also rising to fame as an Instagram influencer.
Jugyeong Lim proceeds to start afresh at a new school and is instantly considered the most beautiful girl in the class. She fakes being a pretty, prim-and-proper girl in her class and goes back to being a geek who likes horror comics once she gets back home. However, her biggest fear is that her classmates will find out what she resembles behind the cosmetics!
No one has seen her bare face in school except one person- Lee Su Ho
Lee Su Ho is the cold-hearted, alpha male lead. He is blessed with good grades and dashing looks making his female classmates drool all over the place. Even the males respect him as he is the topper of the class and is also good at sports.
