About True Beauty, Synopsis
The protagonist lm Joo Kyung (Moon Ga Young), a high schooler who is upbeat and positive about almost everything except for one – her own appearance!
She loathes being seen without makeup publicly in broad daylight. After being bullied due to her perceived ‘ugliness’, she gains the knowledge of makeup with the help of tutorial videos and becomes a self-taught makeup artist. The latest Episode will be True Beauty Episode 9.
This mind-blowing transformation changes her life for good. At school, she is now perceived to be the prettiest young lady in the class. But all this privilege comes with a cost. She secretly lives in fear that her classmates will find out what she resembles behind the cosmetics!
None of her classmates have seen her what lies behind this “mask” of hers except one boy at school- Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo).
He happens to be a high performing student when it comes to grades and has impressive basketball skills. He is also blessed with killer looks and is breathtakingly handsome. As you might have guessed, this boy is the heart-throb of many of his female classmates.
