There is no surprise that Activision is already working on Call of Duty 2024. Now we have some leaks and it seems that the game will follow modern warfare. Though the last call of duty might out, now it’s time for a new one. If the recent speculations turn out to be true, there is a lot of excitement for gamers.
Though we have leaks, the question here is whether is it free to play?. Over the past few months, all fans become uncertain about the announcement of this new game would come to halt. The game publisher already hinted about this game during the Activision Blizzard quarterly earnings call.
There is no official news from Activision though they launched Call of Duty Balck Ops Cold War last year. They revealed that they are not just focusing on Call of Duty 2024 but, on the free-to-play online multiplayer game.
While the Call of Duty franchise has been successful widely since last year. So, the free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone brings tons of new players. Also, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is bringing back the popular zombie mode.
Recent Speculations claims that Call of Duty 2024 will be an Advanced Warfare sequel set in World War 3. While this rumor came from a Reddit post claiming to know a leak about the game. Coincidentally that rumor is shut down by the same person who made all the speculation mentioned above. When asked about the rumor validity, Tom Henderson simply replied “No“.

Developers of New Call of Duty 2024?
While there is no official confirmation even about the game developers regarding this. Sledgehammer Games might be behind this new title in the franchise. The studio is the franchise primary developer from 2012 to 2017. Sledgehammer would have likely begun the development of the game in 2019.
While Henderson’s speculation is a more or less guess, fans are looking far and wide for confirmation. Someone looked at a tweet from the developer on New Year Eve. Which hints us the return of the game series. But, in reality, this is like a joke about rebooting 2020 and not likely related to Call of Duty in any manner.
Still, Call of Duty teams will split between the core series and Warzone. So, it’s impossible that sledgehammer could be stepping back up to tackle the next game.
Release Date of Call of Duty 2024?
The gaming industry inside Tom Henderson will kick off speculations. When he tweeted a development timeline of the franchise, which includes the 2024 release. He later clarified that his post is based on an educated guess, not fact.
However, Henderson’s guesswork is well worked, in this estimation, he places the next Call of Duty game will release on November 13, 2024. Also, the latest installment is released as a launch title for next-generation consoles. So this release date will be influenced largely by Sony and Microsoft.
